On October 5, the South Sound community came together for the 13th Annual Beer & Bites, raising an incredible $1.6 million for South Sound CARE Foundation. As the event’s underwriting sponsor, The Rush Companies was proud to once again support an evening dedicated to advancing cancer research, expanding treatment options, and improving care for patients close to home.
Year after year, Beer & Bites brings the community together to support a cause that touches so many lives. This year’s fundraising total reflects the incredible generosity of the individuals, businesses, and organizations working to make a difference for local cancer patients and their families.

Beer & Bites featured delicious food and drinks from local vendors, including Boathouse 19, The Vault Catering, Narrows Brewing and many other generous donors, along with exciting auctions, and live music and dancing with the band Baking With Julia, all in support of a mission that touches so many lives.
Funds raised help the South Sound CARE Foundation advance local cancer research, support clinical trials, and expand access to innovative treatments. By bringing these resources to the South Sound, the foundation helps patients access promising care while remaining close to their families and support networks.
Every donation and auction bid contributes to this important work, offering hope and new possibilities to individuals and families facing cancer.
