Being part of Rush Gives since 2020 has been a meaningful experience. The team puts a lot of thought into how and where we give, always focusing on ways to make a real difference in our communities. I’m truly thankful for the support and opportunity The Rush Companies provides to the Rush Gives team.

This year, my favorite events were the Habitat for Humanity build day and Holiday Stocking Drive. What I love most about these events is how they bring people together from our different departments, giving us the chance to spend time with coworkers we don’t usually get to see in our day-to-day work. It’s rewarding to see how these opportunities strengthen our connections while also making a positive impact.

I joined the Rush Gives committee in 2022 and have truly enjoyed the opportunity to help make a positive impact in our community. Seeing Rush’s passion for giving back has been inspiring, and knowing these values are embraced from the top down makes me especially grateful to work at Rush.

We are thankful for Rush’s generous sponsorship to support our HopeGivers event, where former guests have the chance to share their stories about transformation and success since their time at The Rescue Mission. Together, we can create a supportive community that fosters healing with love, hope, and dignity for our neighbors experiencing homelessness.

We appreciate the enthusiasm The Rush Companies brings to their annual Team Habitat build day. By combining their volunteer labor with sponsor dollars, Rush is increasing the impact they are making on affordable homeownership opportunities in Pierce County.

Being involved with the Rush Gives committee and giving back to people and organizations in our community makes me proud. Most important are the volunteer opportunities we participate in through this committee, which allow all of our team members a chance to give back each year.
