On October 5, the South Sound community came together for the 13th Annual Beer & Bites, raising an incredible $1.6 million for South Sound CARE Foundation. As the event’s underwriting sponsor, The Rush Companies was proud to once again support an evening dedicated to advancing cancer research, expanding treatment options, and improving care for patients close to home.
Year after year, Beer & Bites brings the community together to support a cause that touches so many lives. This year’s fundraising total reflects the incredible generosity of the individuals, businesses, and organizations working to make a difference for local cancer patients and their families.

An Evening of Generosity and Community
Beer & Bites featured delicious food and drinks from local vendors, including Boathouse 19, The Vault Catering, Narrows Brewing and many other generous donors, along with exciting auctions, and live music and dancing with the band Baking With Julia, all in support of a mission that touches so many lives.
Funds raised help the South Sound CARE Foundation advance local cancer research, support clinical trials, and expand access to innovative treatments. By bringing these resources to the South Sound, the foundation helps patients access promising care while remaining close to their families and support networks.
Every donation and auction bid contributes to this important work, offering hope and new possibilities to individuals and families facing cancer.

A Partnership That Makes a Difference
The Rush Companies has proudly served as the underwriting sponsor of Beer & Bites since its inception, helping ensure that funds raised through the event directly benefit the South Sound CARE Foundation.
Our commitment to this partnership goes beyond sponsorship. Each year, Team Rush members volunteer their time and energy to help bring the event to life, supporting everything from event setup to guest assistance and behind-the-scenes logistics. We’re grateful for the team members who continue to step up and make this annual tradition possible.
Supporting organizations that make a meaningful difference in our community is an important part of who we are at Rush. Beer & Bites is a great example of what can happen when local businesses and community members come together for a shared purpose.
