With a focus on learning, mentorship, and community involvement, our internship program is designed for those who want hands-on experience, meaningful work, and purpose as they explore their careers.
Recently named 2025 Washington’s Best Workplaces #2 Midsize Company by the Puget Sound Business Journal, we’re proud to provide interns with an environment that inspires growth, collaboration, and lasting connections.
Interns contribute directly to daily PE tasks such as quality control and submittals. They also spend a “Day in the Life” with a trade partner to gain firsthand insight into the craft, process, and importance of each role on the jobsite.
From walking active construction projects to seeing completed communities, interns learn to evaluate work at every stage. Each intern also hosts a site tour for their peers, showcasing their project and role.
Every intern is paired with a dedicated PE or PM mentor for day-to-day guidance, with additional access to project executives and division leaders for broader career insight and support.
Weekly SOP sessions, held at jobsites or the corporate office, provide consistent education on best practices, systems, and procedures.
Through site tours, on-site training, and business development opportunities, interns connect with teams across Rush Commercial and Rush Residential, building relationships and learning from leaders throughout the company.
Interns attend a Key Leaders Event to meet division heads and explore career paths within the company. The program concludes with a formal presentation, giving interns the opportunity to share their experiences, sharpen public speaking skills, and celebrate their growth.
