Since 2013, the ITOMIC triple negative breast cancer trial has been on the leading edge of where cancer advances are going... equipping physicians and patients with personalized information about how to treat their cancer. To date, 31 patients have been enrolled in the trial, 28 of whom are South Sound CARE patients. The ITOMIC trial has opened up an avenue for this innovative approach for patients with an incurable form of breast cancer. The study is getting international attention in scientific articles... and now in the New York Times.
